🐾 Add More Stable Hind-Leg Support During Daily Movement
A traditional leg-only brace can shift, rotate, or slide down as your dog walks, making it harder to keep the support area properly positioned.
The Komavic Adjustable Dog Knee Support Brace uses a three-point support system that combines a hind-leg brace, wide rear torso wrap, and collar-connected support strap. Together, these components help keep the knee opening and support panels more consistently aligned during supervised, low-impact movement.
Its flexible construction and multiple adjustment points make it suitable for controlled indoor routines, short daily walks, and veterinarian-guided support plans.
🐶 Who Is This For?
This dog knee support brace may be suitable for:
- Dogs needing additional external hind-leg support
- Supervised short walks and controlled movement
- Dogs whose leg-only braces tend to shift or slide downward
- Senior dogs needing additional stability during low-impact routines
- Indoor mobility and quiet daily activity
- Veterinarian-guided recovery or rehabilitation routines
- Pet parents looking for a more anchored brace design
For persistent limping, pain, swelling, injury, post-operative care, or diagnosed joint conditions, consult your veterinarian before use.

How to Measure
- Have your dog stand naturally on a flat surface.
- Locate the knee joint on the hind leg.
- Measure around the upper leg directly above the knee.
- Keep the measuring tape level and close to the fur without pulling tightly.
- Compare the measurement with the size chart.
- Also check the brace height when choosing between overlapping sizes.
Do not select a size based only on breed or body weight.
How to Put It On
- Open all hook-and-loop straps.
- Position the brace around the selected hind leg.
- Align the circular opening with the knee area.
- Fasten the lower leg sections so they are secure without excessive compression.
- Wrap the wide support section around the rear torso.
- Run the narrow upper support strap along your dog’s back.
- Attach the upper strap to the collar as directed.
- Adjust the system so the brace remains aligned without pulling against the neck.
- Let your dog take several slow steps and recheck the fit.
Fit Check
The brace should remain stable without restricting normal circulation or controlled leg movement.
Check that:
- The knee opening remains aligned with the intended joint area.
- The lower straps are secure but not excessively tight.
- The torso section does not restrict breathing or abdominal movement.
- The upper support strap does not pull the collar tightly against the neck.
- Your dog can stand, sit, and take slow steps comfortably.
- No edge or strap creates excessive rubbing.
Recheck the fit after the first several minutes of use.
Cleaning & Care
- Remove loose fur and dirt from the hook-and-loop areas regularly.
- Follow the supplied cleaning instructions.
- Allow the brace to dry completely before reuse.
- Inspect the stabilizers, seams, straps, and closures before each session.
- Replace or discontinue use if structural components become damaged.
- Store flat or loosely folded in a clean, dry location.
Important Safety Note
This product provides external support only and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent knee injuries, ligament conditions, arthritis, or other medical problems.
Use only while your dog is supervised.
Do not overtighten the leg, torso, or collar-connected straps. The upper strap should help maintain positioning without placing significant tension on your dog’s neck.
Remove the brace if you notice redness, rubbing, swelling, increased limping, altered walking, discomfort, distress, or changes in circulation.
For injuries, persistent limping, suspected ligament problems, post-operative use, or rehabilitation, consult a veterinarian before using the brace.
